Pros and cons of solar energy

There are more of pros about solar energy than the cons. The positive aspects of solar energy have greatly overshadowed its negative aspects.

Pros of solar energy:
The solar energy is absolutely pollution free.
The most amazing thing about solar energy is that it is free and can be used unlimitedly.
Government gives financial incentives to help you pay for your solar system.
Solar power can be generated anywhere without the support of local electric supply. Hence solar power can be harnessed even in the remote areas.
Another great pro of solar energy is that it reduces the problem of finding the required space for solar panel placement, as they can be easily installed on the top of roof.

Cons of solar energy as against the pros:
The major con of solar energy is its initial installation cost. The prices of highly efficient solar cells can be above $1500.
Solar panels take up a lot of space. Not every space is viable for its installation.
